Match explanations
Every match Astris HR makes comes with a clear explanation of why this person fits this role. The candidate, the caseworker, and the employer all see the same reasons — not different versions for different audiences.
What's in an explanation
The match score is built from clear parts: skills, experience, language, distance, schedule, certifications, and transportation. You can see how each part contributed to the total.
The explanation shows what shaped the score — the candidate's direct qualifications, how closely their background lines up with the role, and how likely they are to stay. Nothing is weighted behind the scenes.
Why an Afghan farming background fits a warehouse role: crop cultivation carries over to inventory handling, and tractor operation carries over to forklift work. Each connection is rated for how strong it is.
What the candidate is missing for this role, ranked by how much each gap matters. Shown up front — never buried.
A short paragraph in the reader's own language that explains the fit. It reflects the actual reasons behind the score — it never adds reasoning that isn't there.
Every explanation includes an estimate of how long the candidate is likely to stay in the role over the first month, quarter, half-year, and year. Strong matches that may not last get flagged.
Why transparency, not magic
A system that affects who gets a job has to be open to review. Astris is built so a caseworker can stand behind any recommendation, an employer can question any score, and a candidate can ask why.
| Same view for every party | Employer, caseworker, and candidate all see the same explanation, the same scores, and the same gaps. We don't soften the story for one audience. |
| Available in the reader's language | The plain-language summary appears in the reader's preferred language. The scores stay the same for everyone, no matter the language. |
| A record you can review | Every match is saved with the explanation exactly as it was made, so it stays on record. If the match is refreshed later with an improved version of the Astris HR Model, the earlier explanation is kept as history. |
| Connects to your systems | The full explanation — scores, strengths, gaps, transferable skills, and how long a candidate is likely to stay — can be sent straight into your hiring or caseworker software. |
| No "the computer said so" defense | Because every score can be broken down, you can back a hiring decision with specific reasons — and you can override any score with your own notes. The Astris HR Model is a tool, not the decision-maker. |
